SYNOPSIS

The 2000 film Mela, starring Aamir Khan, is a classic Bollywood action-drama. Directed by Dharmesh Darshan, it features Aamir alongside his real-life brother Faisal Khan and Twinkle Khanna. 

Film Synopsis
The story is set in the village of Chandanpur, which celebrates a grand annual fair (Mela). 

The Tragedy: During the festival, the ruthless bandit Gujjar Singh (Tinnu Verma) attacks the village and a visiting politician, resulting in a massacre that wipes out the family of a beautiful young woman named Roopa (Twinkle Khanna). Her brother is among those killed.

The Vow: Roopa narrowly escapes Gujjar's attempt to kidnap her by jumping off a waterfall. She survives and vows to take revenge against the dacoit.

The Heroes: On her journey, she meets two truck drivers and theatre artists: the playful and gregarious Kishan Pyare (Aamir Khan) and the stoic, volatile Shankar Shane (Faisal Khan).

The Mission: Roopa enlists their help, though she initially hides her true identity from them. Together, they eventually plan a trap for Gujjar by organising another Mela in Chandanpur, leading to a high-stakes final confrontation where they fight to end Gujjar’s tyranny.
